Legalisation of child pornography and sex with animals
BBC NEWS | Europe | Dutch alarmed by paedophile group:
"A political party with a paedophile agenda has been registered in The Netherlands, prompting outrage among many parts of society.
The party plans to push for a cut in the legal age for sexual relations to 12 from 16 and for legalisation of child pornography and sex with animals."
In my books, I called this sick. This is just one example. How many others are operating in north east under the banners of NGO's?
Like the way President banned Da Vinci, we should watch the activities of all NGO's in Sri Lanka and ban them no matter what they claim to be doing if they engage in any kind of an unethical activity in Sri Lanka or link to such groups. This is for the sake of innocent kids. Watch out for this group and others.

Please explain your logic Janapathi (pundit gee). What has the liberal discussions about the affairs of legislation in Netherlands got to do with you flogging NGO's. Have you truely lost any sensible things to say about NGO's but haven't got the balls to say something nice? For you are my pundit and I must listen to your disdain stupid as you/is it is.
I agree with your opinion on paedophilia - I think there is nothing sicker. But I am genuinely puzzled as to how you link this to NGOs. Is there evidence of any NGOs being involved in paedophilia or are you just are you just trying to portray NGOs in a negative light because of your own opinions on them?
I really don't mean to sound harsh and am seriously interested in why you have said this.
Nice and interesting blog by the way.
I did read the post and I find your link between a "political" party in the Netherlands and your statement that NGOs "funded by this kind of countries" extremely tenuous.
To the casual onlooker (me) it definitely appears that you are using the story about the Dutch "political" party as a means of slagging off NGOs.
I also don't really understand your comment about the legal age limit. Please explain more.
In reply to the above comment..

Above are direct examples.
Lot of other indirect rackets are taking place. For example,
In Asia, some of the guys find single mothers to get marry and then use the child..
Poor people, people who are in trouble (for example, tsunami) are totally unaware of the real picture and hidden long term motives of these so called NGO's.
It's too bad that the government is not monitoring the activities of NGO's operating in Sri Lanka.
To Janin
Read the post first.
What I said is to monitor activites of all NGO's operating in Sri Lanka. Specially funded by this kind of countries where you get political groups, charities like this, legally operating for sick purposes.
Who said this group operate in Sri Lanka?
This is just the start. Do we have to wait till we come to a situation like fighting for anti conversion bills in parliment? Why not stop it before it start? That's what I said.
Thanks for the compliment though.
I do hope you have passed the legal age limit that these guys are proposing.
more..
Most of the stories are related to Africa. This NGO boom in Sri Lanka started very recently. Let's wait and see until the news break up in Asia. Till then, people like Janin can call me pundit gee.

CHILDREN ABUSED BY AID WORKERS
AID workers for more than 40 agencies in West Africa have been abusing children by demanding sex in exchange for food.
A team from Save the Children and the United Nations say they have collected extensive evidence of abuse from refugee children in Liberia Guinea and Sierra Leone. A Save the Children spokesman said the children found themselves in the desperate situation that in order to survive they have to make the choice of going without food or selling themselves.
Most of the victims were girls under 18 who were being abused by men working for the agencies and the number of allegations left no doubt that there was a serious problem of sexual exploitation demanding further action and investigation.
The allegations were investigated by the UN which said it found little evidence to support them, but Save the Children says it is standing by the conclusions of the original report.
These are basically that that there is a serious exploitation of teenage girls from refugee and displaced communities in West Africa and that some aid staff in position of power are involved. The charity has made a number of recommendations based on minimising the future risk of sexual exploitation of vulnerable children in West Africa and elsewhere round the world.
It says that arrangements should be made to enable children and communities to launch complaints without fear of reprisals and support should be given for children and families to find alternative ways to supplement income.
Save the Children also says that there should be consultation with children on how food should be distributed and how to reduce vulnerability.
Arrangements should also be made for moving vulnerable children through transit camps as quickly as possible and there should be improved lighting and changes to the lay-out of camps to decrease opportunities for exploitation and abuse.
Fair enough, I wasn't aware of the stories you have linked to and elaborated upon. If they are true then I would agree with you that NGOs should be watched. I do think that they should be treated as innocent until proven guilty though. Thanks for explaining.
The problem Countries like Sri Lanka is facing today is not knowing what is going on inside NGO's.
Transactions are loosely monitored, difficult to put restrictions as these NGO's direct via respective embassies and also they have quickly established links with key people and companies in Sri Lanka.
This is exactly what has happened in Africa sometimes back and the way they are fully depending on NGO's today.
In Africa they do have human drugs testing scams under the name of NGO's. Like you have said, until proven.. not guilty..
Some Buddhists are accusing some NGO’s for conversions. Conversions are nothing compared to what has happened in other countries.
Forget about the business scams and conversions. Just safe the kids.. that’s enough..
Well, Buddhist monks abuse children a lot more in Sri Lanka than any white people do.
So can we chase the monks away too?
As I can remember, in Sri Lanka legal age for sex is 18 (not 16 – but I may be wrong). Most of the countries that have Christian law (like Sri Lanka) push the legal age of having sex to legal age to geting married. Also control any other sex related activity according to the catholic low. But you may see there are countries that have legal age for sex as 13. (Japan, Argentina) but in some countries it is go down to 12 (Canada, Mexico, Panama) – also in some other countries legal age is 21. But as an average it stays 14 in most of the countries.
This is taboo for most of us in Sri Lanka – because in Sri Lanka Values decided by the White guy in Vatican. He is so successful, even Buddhists take them as Buddhist values without questioning.
So we don’t have to worry. We have enough institution in Sri Lanka to control our underwear.
I agree Netherland went little bit extreme in this. But free train for every one is not a bad idea (as long as Color people do not have to pay for Whites train ride too). Also I believe I should have my freedom to select how I shall fuck up my brain. – With Drugs or with Religion.
Legal age for sex going down is not a bad idea – after all Gandhi got married at 14 – lucky bugger had sex couple of times day.
Now this news make me thinking how nice it could be if my parents give a birth to a porn star in Netherlands. Dam! I could have my teacher fantasize about me in the school – not I fantasize about her.
Janapathi,
I have nothing against NGOs in principle and some of them have done a lot of good not only in Sri Lanka but elsewhere in the world, but I do agree with your post. The intentions of the political party that you describe are the most dispicable thoughts ever to be harboured by the human race. Yes NGOs should be monitored. So should the state sector. Corruption/abuse/malpractice should not be tolerated by anyone in whatever form. I am certainly not calling for a police state, but a free hand in anything for anyone using others' funds should - in my book - be made accountable to the stake-holders and be scrutinised by the authorities to some extent. Its called transparency. Most certainly there have been instances of abuse by certain NGOs in Sri Lanka over the years, including reports of evangelists operating under the guise of aid-workers etc. This is not to say that all NGOs are evil as this would be rather near-sighted. But does that mean that we should trust all and sundry and let them reign supreme over the poor and the vulnerable, just because they choose to call themselves an NGO? Surely, I would think not!
