Loading more passengers to the sinking ship

We kill Sinhalese for the benefit of all Tamils.
I was reading news reports of LTTE terrorists after the EU ban, openly claiming that the Tamil Community is backing LTTE terrorists and they are intimidated by the EU action. Interestingly, I still did not read any Tamil person or a group openly condemning the LTTE terrorist open statement to the international media. Which makes us to believe that they all are ready to get in to the LTTE terrorist ship and get labeled as Terrorists and to be part of all LTTE atrocities in the past.

India is openly showing its clear hide and seek strategy on this issue. They do not want to say anything or to do anything on this matter. For them, it is a Sri Lankan ball game although they have enough spectators betting on it.

Discrimination against Tamils in India

The recent backward class higher education reservation bill in India itself shows the helplessness of the present Indian government and to the extent that they have got themselves into the power of backward classes. From the definition of Indian Government itself, they have acknowledged the class system in India and also the discrimination against those backward class people. LTTE terrorists are using this present race and religious discrimination in India for their benefit. For the Tamils live in Tamilnadu and all over the world, the dream of having a homeland is still a dream. Live fantasy of living in their homeland has bundled to suicide bombers and promises by the LTTE terrorists. If not for this generation, let’s kill them for future generations. That is the exact mentality they are in.

we ban u, but we love your fight.. by the way, you have a nice home!!!

Diplomatic privileges for Terrorists
Meanwhile, the latest twist is that LTTE terrorists are trying to get diplomatic privileges for them to attend talks in other countries. If the government agree on this, that will be the first time in this world a terrorist organization is travelling with diplomatic privileges.
Stupidly enough, Sri Lankan government is now waiting to see the next move from LTTE terrorist side without openly making a proposal on what they can offer.

Making BBC the official and the main website of LTTE media coverage.

BBC website they have converted to a comprehensive LTTE terrorist home page. Interestingly, they have manage to delete the past news items of their terrorist attacks from the BBC Timeline. You can read all LTTE terrorist proposal to the conflict. No way it mention the word Terrorist. No place you can read any condemnation about any past LTTE assacinations. No news item about the Rajiv Gandhi investigation and the open arrest warrant.

LTTE Terrorist taking the initiative
It is also interesting how the LTTE terrorists manage to shift the ball game by giving enough publicity and directing the movie of extra judiciary killings and making it more highlighted than the history of suicide bombs they have carried out over the past. It is pathetic that some Sri Lankans are keep on contributing to this by labeling who ever highlight LTTE atrocities over the years as extremists and trying to make themselves looks like very peaceful minded, forgivable gentleman standing in the middle of a rice paddy field.
Terrorists are trying to bat hard to catch up the run rate lost and Sri Lankans are trying hard to kill time by drinking water and running to bathrooms..

For LTTE, the immediate plan now is to find a no war situation and find a way to break the present government. For that, proposing a UN peacekeeping force is the best plan for them. Then to find a way to re-locate expatriate tamils to north. Remember, not Sri Lankan tamils anymore.. Tamils living all around the world..That is where they are heading for..
They have better think tanks than us and they do have a thing to fight. For us, who cares.. !!!

above is the future of sinhalese thanks to our politicians and the weak mindset...

Your presumptious conclusion that the LTTE's terror tactics garner the support of all Tamils fails to recognise many factors:

a) the alternative Tamil voices in Parliament (even in the past, Thiruchelvam, Kadirgarmar and even Anandasangari) were opposed to the brutality.

b) Colombo's upper-class Tamils, who's best prospects for business lie with a capitalist UNP regime, not the LTTE and certainly not for business in the northeast!

c) you presume that the vast Tamil Diaspora will rush back to Tamil Eelam (if it is realised), abandoning all the comforts that many of them have long enjoyed in the western world, so they can help set up Eelam from scratch! Even as far as the western-based Tamil ultra-nationalists are concerned, I would like to see how many of them would but their bodies where their mouths are.

d) you presume that all others (in this case, Tamil citizens) are as proactive and politically engaged as the many Sri Lankan bloggers that contribute to this tidy little network that we have built up. There are many people I know (of all ethnicities and nationalities) who are arm-chair critics but will never raise their voice).

With regards to India, New Delhi surely burnt her fingers during their intervention in the 1980s, not just militarily but politically too. Ever since the IPKF took on the LTTE and moreover, since the Rajiv Gandhi assassination, New Delhi has lost its mantal (if she ever had any) to intervene even at a political level. India is laced with bias, albeit a paradigmatic shift in sentiment since the 1980s.

The GOSL has no option but to seek diplomatic previledges for the LTTE if it wishes to make any real efforts towards realistic peace talks. It is a foregone conclusion that the LTTE cannot be defeated militarily any longer - if they can, I suppose the Government Forces were only practicing for the past two decades! We've lost 64,000 lives - how many more do we want to lay down, while we bloggers blog in comfort?

There is no military solution to the conflict. Terrorism cannot be militarily suppressed, although the Bush/Blair/Howard coalition will tell you that it can. Its causes must be isolated through the investigation of primordial factors, as with regard to the Sri Lankan conflict. In Sri Lanka, the prelude to the LTTE's formation was beset with successive marginalisation of the Tamil people. Note the nationalism espoused during the reneissance of the late nineteenth century, the replacing of the Donoughmore Constitution with the Soulbury Constitution, the election campaign of 1956 and the Constitution of 1972. Note the abrogation of the Banda-Chelva and Sena-Chelva Pacts. Note the style of protest of the FP and the subsequent physical assaults on the same. Now witness the terrorism of the LTTE. Witness a change in tactics? There is no denial that Prabhakaran is 'the world's most ruthless guerilla leader' [Narayan Swamy], but the military suppressing of the LTTE alone will solve nothing for the Tamil people. May I refer you to my own blog for more views on this. Btw, I like your juxtaposed cricket analysis:)
