Stupid Peace Rallies and Stupid Fighting with each other at a time LTTE has declared war on us..
The present war is with LTTE terrorists and LTTE do not want any sharing of power.
LTTE terrorists have said this many times. If wanna reconfirm this, then it’s very simple. Call for a meeting with LTTE leaders and tell them the agenda is to discuss “sharing of power”. They will get the answer direct from them.
Are these people deaf and blind? I do not understand. All they do is blaming parties like JHU, JVP and anyone who oppose their idea of power sharing as extremists.
Just stop this bullshit. If does not want to fight a war with LTTE, then defend against them like the way we do now but without getting killed. That’s a different story.
But do not talk this bullshit ‘peace talks’ ‘sharing of power’ etc without telling with whom we are going to share the power.
This is like falling in love with the neighbors beautiful daughter and writing love letters at a time when she is making love with her driver. This is not a hindi movie.
Whoever believe in peace talks and power sharing can live in this illusion forever.

Both those parties just satisfing the needs of tigers. Peaceniks, just showing off. Those monks, just creating materials to insult budhism.
I went to this rally without thinking much. I went actually thinking it is a good thing. I am not talking about the monks incident. What I felt was, many NGO linked people and politicians using the rally as a campaign. I felt so bad for the armed forces fighting to safe Jaffna at that time.
I really regret for going to that rally.
LTTE is not terrorists. Unfortunately they got banned due to some suicide bombs carried out in order to protect the homeland. They are representing the discriminated innocent tamils in Sri Lanka. Some high sole tamils living in Colombo may not like it because they are linked to the government and do business with them. They are the traitors. They should not allow being part of the peace talks or any negotiations. Tamils with LTTE does not support those traitors.
Another point.. you are correct. LTTE has sacrificed a lot and won many for our tamil nation. We will have Jaffna very soon. It is our capital and GOSL is occupying our land. Get out from Tamil Land now than later.

Our leader kept his word over the years. He created our homeland 'Tamil Ealam'. Your leaders done nothing to anyone. They are the culprits of your sinhalese side of land. Don't blame Mr. Prabhakaran for everything. Your leaders can not propose any solution to the problem. One govt to another, one election promise to another, they change. You trust them and vote for them.

No, I think peace talks has a big role to play in this crisis. It is true that nothing done over the past 2 years. Still we have to find a way to make LTTE come to the table. Even with war going on, we should force LTTE for talks. That's the only way to find a solution to the problem.

The issue is this fellow who is posting pro-ltte comments in many other blogs and mine is, he/she does not want to go for a divorce.
May be we should assure his/her financial stability. Then things can change.
Like the way things hapenning in Iraq. They had elections and they do have a govt? Money can change things.
For example, many LTTE linked "Peace nicks" living with us in south are getting funded by NGO's.
Like the way some ministers bring people to meetings by giving lunch packets, they too marching around for NGO money.
If the cycle can be reversed, they can be turned to anti-LTTE side within hrs. It's that easy.
