What is the Next Message Mr President
Sri Lanka, 6 - 26 - 2006: Major General Kulatunga's death is another example of LTTE's continued terrorism, says Sri Lanka President:
This unabated violence by the LTTE should attract the opprobrium of the entire civilized world. It is a reminder to the international community, and to the Tamil people, that the LTTE remains an organization dedicated to pursue violent means, especially the use of terror to achieve its objectives, which are far removed from the actual needs of the Tamil people. (President of Sri Lanka)
Yet another suicide bomb blast, yet another victory for LTTE terrorists. They have eliminated another brave Sri Lankan.
Call for talks. Some might think why I am writing the same bloody thing over and over again. If not, what else to write? Every time a bomb goes off, we hear talking about having a negotiated settlement and the same message from the President.
- First of all, the ‘entire Civilized world’ ‘international community’ not ready to listen to our President. They have published Puleedevan’s message not the presidents message.
- “LTTE remains an organization dedicated to pursue violent means”. Isn’t that the reason why many countries have Banned them? How come any responsible individual explain to the world why such an organization and it’s pseudo NGOs are not banned in Sri Lanka? Why the president allow them to operate in Sri Lanka legaly?
- “actual needs of the Tamil people”. Now why the Tamil People not come forward and say so. How many Tamil political parties the President has in the ruling party. What powers they have over LTTE?
I was very happy about the very first, very bold speech the President did as soon as he got elected.
The way the things going on, I guess that speech will remain as the first and the last speech made by a Sri Lankan President directly addressing the issue.
Since then, Now what is this all about? What changed you to think like your predecessors? Who is misleading you over this issue?
Now the SLMM is in limbo. In a way, I am so glad that it happened that way. Good that if they can not function at all. Reason is, whether they function or not, nothing will change and nothing has changed.
By having a SLMM with international monitors make the life more difficult as they start posting comments and messages from both sides without knowing what the hell is going on. When a Sri Lankan can not go near LTTE controlled areas, how come anyone expect an international monitor to go and investigate on a certain matter of concern? From the time they started, they are reporting 'eye witness" statements to the international media.
Most of the guys at SLMM are not experienced similar to UN inspectors. This SLMM comprise of politicians and NGO related officials from Nordic Countries. Some of them are shit scared of lightning. What can you expect from them other than issuing statements? That’s why it is good for them as well as for us, if they can pack the bags and go to where they belongs. When asked, why they have not achieved peace in Sri Lanka despite having a peace accord for over 2 years, the answer they give is “Government and Tigers are not committed for a negotiated settlement”. Now ask yourself, if both sides are committed for peace, then why do we need them?
Owner of the company asked from the Sales Manager Mr. SLMM:So the problem still remains as it is. It is with the consumers. Now the consumers wants to change the Sales Manager. Reason they do not want to buy the product is due to the nationality of the Sales Manager. Will they buy after that? Nah.. then they will have to wait and see whether Mr NEW SLMM can offer the product for Free..
SLMM why you could not achieve the sales target during the last two years?
SLMM said, Consumers did not buy the product..
Till then, you may write and keep MANY more new messages Mr President? You will need them..
