This round of Peace Talks was a big success.

We had Peace Talks and it was a mega success. They had a good agenda and they concluded the Peace talks without anyone getting killed. Isn’t that a big achievement?
I think we all should congratulate our President and his team for participating in Peace Talks and making our story heard. The international community decided not to believe what the LTTE said and they all decided to believe the innocent, honest speech put forward by our government. In fact the international community decided to switch off the TV, Radio sets when LTTE started to speak. All credit of this big achievement and the big step forward towards a lasting peace talks should go to our President, his government and to every sri lankan who believed in Peace talks (a.k.a Peace niks).

Norway also did a great job. They warned both sides not to kill each other. Well, our President did the best thing for letting the international community understand that both sides should be equally responsible for killing innocent civilians.

At the end, it is great to hear that the LTTE put forward a condition for future negotiations. Now have a platform to discuss and to blog more.. also our peace niks can arrange more rallies.. We should try to fulfill the latest demands put forward by LTTE as soon as possible and plan like this for the next round of peace talks. Otherwise like BBC say, the government should be worried of loosing its credibility.

This war has already taken 20 yrs killing many thousands. So it can be solved only by way of discussions during the next 10 years. I am sure both the Prabhakaran and Anton (a.k.a terrorists) will live till that time. :) :)

Let’s file a case against BBC and its news reporter

Did government inform BBC that they are concerned of loosing credibility? This is not a quoted text from any source. The above statement is from the BBC reporter.

I am not a law expert. I wonder whether the government can take any kind of a legal action against BBC for making totally false statement and misleading the public.

I know that the above statement is not so serious. But they have published several false news items against the Sri lankan government before and escaped.

It is true that media should have freedom to report. But do they have the right to manipulate the situation the way they are doing ? How come they escape everytime without any responsibility?

I think the Sri Lankan law experts living in UK should study this situation and find a way to make a case similar to the Dr Kelly case against the BBC. It will give a good publicity to the lawyers too.

What BBC repeatedly highlighting as their excuse for lying and reporting false news is, the biasness of govt media and LTTE media. I am not trying to say Govt or LTTE media is always reporting the correct picture. Whatever they report, it is local media reporting local news.

Here we have a situation where the BBC, one of the leading UK based organization keep on reporting adverse news against a democratically elected government.

The famous Dr. Kelly’s Govt vs BBC case, BBC was proven wrong about the way they reported the news and as a result many had to resign. I think it is right time for the government of Sri Lanka or any Sri Lankan living in UK to look in to the possibilities of making a case against BBC.

At least it will provide us a platform to put our case forward and make the BBC listeners aware about the situation.

Different people have different ways of coming up with ideas. I get ideas when I see similar objects/situations. Guess what, yesterday I had a very bad stomach-ache. I was running to the bathroom and flushing the toilet all day. So.. here I am.. now decided to take a U turn. Janapathi is supporting this round of Peace Talks.

Yes, I am. I got the idea when I try to figure out how I flushed that much of a shit load when I did not eat the entire day. That's when I figure out.. do we really need to eat to shit so much? Let's take our Team. We all know that they do not have a clue what the hell they are going to talk… but, they are going to talk. So what they are going to talk during this round of peace talks is not different than the load of shit that I flushed yesterday.
Well, each time I went to the bathroom I felt much better. So I was thinking about the effect on us, after our team flush out the amount of shit that they are capable of..

LTTE is not interested in Peace Talks! Who said they are?

I can not believe this guy is talking from his mouth or ??. I understand, for Sri Lankan politicians saving their posts and votes matters than the country or its people. But do they have any moral right to decide on dividing a country or scheduling talks to find out the possibilities to do so? I do not think so.

Bloody LTTE terrorists had never stated that they want to share power? They have never asked for a federal solution. They only want a separate state. As I have repeatedly highlighted in my blog, they never ever wanted to talk anything outside this framework.
Sri Lankan politicians are day dreaming on this so called federal solution or the power sharing solution. This kind of solutions will only work if terrorist Prabhakaran is DEAD. Until he is alive, no way he agrees on any kind of a solution coz that can backfire on him. This is not a rocket science to understand. The solution to this problem rests on the state of the terrorist Prabhakaran. If any politician or any peace nick genuinely wants to SOLVE this problem, then go and target the terrorist Prabhakaran. That is not that much hard to do or to understand. We all know it. So do it first and then we all can sit and talk about power sharing.
Otherwise, accept the defeat and give that shit hole to formally establish the fucking state of Tamil Ealam.

My deepest sympathise to the families of our soldiers who died yesterday. It was clearly an inside tip and I really do not wonder how they did it.

Mahinda Rajapaksa.. must have thought that he had the upper hand when committing to the peace talks after greedily chewing the bate sent by LTTE via the traitors of UNP. He must have dreamed that he got UNP to his trap and made LTTE isolated by giving the CWC minister posts etc. Wonder whether he understands at least now that it is them who has taken him a ride?

All of a sudden, he forgot that it is him who stood straight and it is our troops who fought when win the Sampoor battle. It is this same President who talked like a lion and lead to win the Sampoor. He also forgot the moral uplift the entire country got after thrashing LTTE out from Sampoor.

Since then, LTTE terrorists were trying all sorts of tricks, passing ball games, sending love letters through Norwayto somehow get some room to breathe. Finally, they succeeded. This time..those brave soldiers who fought had to sacrifice their lives due to the poor leadership of the President. President was dreaming of his peace talks and his pact with UNP.. LTTE is always planning the NEXT attack.. This does not mean LTTE is strong then our troops. But this clearly shows us that the LTTE leadership is more strategic than our leadership.

Now LTTE will go to the so called Peace Talks with the upper hand and the stupid bunch of Mahnida and his idiotic ministers will go and hoot the same complain and come back. “We Want Peace.. they are bad boys.. when we stop attacking. they attack.. I will defend my nation..No division..but we like to share power” fucking bullshit..

If the president is brave enough, it is not too late to..

CANCEL THE PEACE TALKS RIGHT NOW.. FORGET ABOUT THE PACT SIGNED WITH UNP.. DO NOT LISTEN TO JVP OR JHU..LET THEM BARK AND FIGHT..

After a string of wins, we have to again face the results of the bloody UNP traitors who are ready to sell our country for the sake of protecting their own religious and business interests. As I said in my previous post, JVP and JHU should take the fair share of responsibility for allowing UNP and LTTE to join with this president instead of them acting strategically to protect the country. It is true that we are not aware about the underhand deals that may have offered to the president for taking this U Turn policy of his. The sad truth is, again LTTE manage to lift the head, consolidate the position and kill many troops.

Too bad for our future generations and the president should be ashamed for himself for making this happen by joining with the fucking UNP shit-heads.
Joining with UNP= Joining with LTTE. That's the noble truth.
Joining with JVP=Joining with some bunch of extremists who will oppose everything and propose the unthinkable.

If really wanna Join with someone.. because of not having a backbone to stand straight and say things straight.. then sticking with JVP is the better option than joining with UNP/LTTE.

Yet another round of free world tour for our ministers and a good breathing opportunity to LTTE. Finally with the help of UNP and Norway, LTTE somehow managed to send the president back to where he started.

My question is this? If the president believes in peace talks, why don't he come out and say what is he going to talk with them? It is very funny when read the ORIGINAL Chinthanaya and the REVISED Chinthanaya. May be it is time to add the version number to it.

Our forces did a great job, sacrificed hell of a lot.. and now they have fixed LTTE to a very small area. One last push from all corners can easily wipe out this conflict forever.
Selvam is crying saying that they will return to a full scale war. come on.. What full scale war he can do with us? LTTE terrorists ran away like chickens when we entered Sampoor. Then Selvam said that they will come and take it back.. how many of us got scared? kiss my ass.

I think the President is digging his own grave by slowly aligning with UNP. JVP and JHU is making it easier for the President by proposing more and more unjustifiable foolish demands. If they act thinking of national interest then we could have flushed the barbaric terrorists and the peace nick henchaiyas out from our country. It is so pathetic that JVP and JHU still insisting on demands that can not be easily given. Instead of crying and jumping with demands, JVP should have done the same thing what LTTE terrorists are doing with the President. They should have taken President a ride and get their demands done behind the curtain. Do what LTTE is doing for the sake of our country. Do not allow this President to go another honeymoon with LTTE and UNP.

The biggest mistake both the JVP and JHU are doing at this moment is openly talking and attacking the government like the way they always do. I do not understand why the so called Marxists do not see the end result of what they are doing. If you want to get something out of your demand, then you have to stick with the guy who has the power to do so. What you are doing is, getting away from the power and allowing an enemy to fill the vacuum.

We should understand that JVP and JHU extremism is much better than the terrorism we are going to get with LTTE. It is so pathetic and sad that we come so close to the end and again giving it easily to this bunch of terrorists and their supporters.

Do not do this mistake again. Unfortunately we do not have another option.
Select between extremism vs terrorism. Sri Lanka or Tamil Ealam. It's your choice..
